Clark County Public Works this week reopened picnic shelter reservations for the remainder of the 2021 season, and most of the 2022 season.

Park goers can reserve their favorite picnic shelters at Clark County parks between Aug. 1 and Sept. 30, 2021. Those planning in advance can now make their reservations up to 12 months in advance for events held between May 1, and Sept. 30, 2022.

Prices for shelter reservations range between $50 and $150 a day depending on size, location, and amenities. Shelter reservations are available at the following Clark County Parks:

Captain William Clark Regional Park

Fairgrounds Community Park

Felida Community Park

Frenchman’s Bar Regional Park

Hazel Dell Community Park

Hockinson Meadows Community Park

Lewisville Regional Park

Orchards Community Park

Pacific Community Park

Salmon Creek Regional Park/Klineline Pond

Vancouver Lake Regional Park

Reservations can be made up to 12 months in advance through Clark County Public Works’ online reservation system or by calling 564-397-2285. In-person reservations are not available at this time. The online reservation site can also be used to purchase the 2021 Annual Parking Pass, which is valid through Dec. 31, 2021.

County leadership made the decision to pause shelter reservations in summer of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Clark County was one of many jurisdictions around the county and state that put reservations on pause.
