Pacific Peaks Fitness has joined Camas Parks & Recreation at the Lacamas Lake Lodge, 227 N.E. Lake Road, Camas.

The classes, held indoors and outside, are meant to improve and maintain fitness goals while providing structure, energy and motivation, and teach proper form and technique, modifications and progressions for each exercise.

Adults of all ages welcome, and workouts can be modified to fit all skill levels and needs, including participants who have back pain, arthritis or chronic injuries.

The focus of each class will have elements of strength, power, core and spine health and mobility, while sometimes incorporating a variety of equipment and stations. Classes are 45 minutes to one hour in length. Each class will feature a warm-up, followed by a format that keeps the energy high and the impact low.

The workout will be a combination of indoors or outdoors, depending on weather. While indoors, participants will follow state mask mandates and staff will plan the exercises accordingly. Participants are asked to arrive a few minutes early with a mat and a set of dumbbells, if they have them.

The classes will be held at 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Mondays; at 5:30 and 9 a.m. on Wednesdays; and at 9 a.m. on Thursdays. The cost is $15 per class or $100 for an eight-class pass.
