The Cellular Plus store in Washougal will hold a backpack giveaway event from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 31.
The free packs will be filled with school supplies.
“We are excited to be able to give back to our local community and make it a little easier for families to afford the essential supplies needed to start the school year off right,” the store wrote on a Facebook post.
A child must be accompanied by an adult to claim a backpack.
The store is located at 3307 Evergreen Way, No. 301A, Washougal.
